WMiC, Issue 18 - “Good growth”, a new report looks beyond productivity to assess how cities and LEP areas are doing

Coverage of the recent Demos-PWC Good Growth for Cities report tended to highlight Birmingham’s performance as the UK’s most improved city, although Coventry was the region’s highest placed overall. Analysing cities, combined authorities, local enterprise partnerships and devolved administrations by looking at the nature and quality of growth beyond measures of productivity, the report has a great deal to say about the West Midlands and the country as a whole.
